Eco Tools Travel Set

So sorry for the bad picture but its half 10 and this is just a spur of the moment.I know I haven't posted in a while but I've been really busy. So i recently purchased this Eco tools Brush Set from Boots at £19.99, which meant i got 76 points on my card, 76p. The set is 5 seat but the 5th piece is just a cute little travel bag which I can't find at the moment. It contains a kabuki brush, an eyeshadow blending brush,  a powder brush and a concealer brush. all are super soft and dense.

Collection Ultimate Fix Foundation

Yesterday I went out to Boots and bought this entreating Collection Foundation. It is a 3 in 1 foundation, concealer and powder. My first impression is that it works great, it is a medium to light coverage but i only used it as a base and I used my collection lasting perfection concealer and Rimmel stay matte powder just in case. it feels really good on your face and comes with a sponge and mirror. Personally, I don't like sponges because they just don't apply the product like I like to do with my fingers. I love how compact this is because you can just stick it in your handbag or school bag and you can just touch up during the day.

Collection Lock 'n' Hold Lipgloss Review

As I mentioned in my previous haul, i recently bought 2 Collection Lip glosses, Rock steady and Beat Box. I had noticed these a few times as the packaging grabbed my attention, but what made me really want to get one is that my friend, K, had the 1st one in the collection, Body Pop, and I just loved the color, the pigmentation and the long lasting power of it. So I immediately hopped out to Boots and bought the 2nd one in the collection, Beat Box, which is the darker shade in the pictures. After trying it i had to get the 3rd one, Rock Steady, which is just as good!

Bottom Line: I would DEFINITELY recommend this to anyone!

Haul

Just to let you know, this is a collective haul so i bought all of these things at different times. First I got the Maybelline The Rocket Mascara in Black Waterproof, which was £7.99.

Next I got the Maybelline Dream Pure BB Cream in light, that was £6.99.

Third, I got the Collection Lock n Hold Lip Gloss in Beat Box and in Rock Steady, they were £2.99 each.

I got another Collection product which was the Extreme Felt Tip Liner in Black which was also £2.99.

Then i got a highly hyped product, the Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder in Translucent, at £3.99 and the Stay Matte Mouse Foundation in Soft Beige to go with it which was £5.99

Next i got a really disappointing product at £3 which was the 17 Powder Brush. I have washed the brush several  times but it is still scratchy and I can't even use it as the quality is terrible.

Next I got the 4th baby lips for my collection, the Mint Fresh one which was £2.99. Beware this is a delicious lip balm but is so strong in its mintyness!

Finally, i got the Miss Sporty So Matte Perfect Stay Foundation in 001 Ivory for £3.49. This is a really nice foundation and super lightweight so perfect for school!

Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation Review

This was actually, and is, my first and only foundation. I have it in the shade 201 Classic Beige which actually has strong orange undertones. As it was only £4.99 I think it is worth the price but I would recommend the lighter shades with less orange in them. It is so easy to blend using your fingers but do no use a sponge and it does not give the same flawless effect.

EOS Strawberry Sorbet Lip Balm Review

You all know I recently ordered a EOS Lip Balm in Strawberry Sorbet and I was so exited and it finally came yesterday! I would be 100% happy with the product but the stupid postman decided to shove it through the post box and it cut the product. So now the part with the thumb dent in it has scratches and chips in it which I am really annoyed about. Besides that, I would highly recommend this product. Before receiving it, I was slightly concerned about the smell and applying it. The smell is perfect and applying the product was surprisingly easy. I love the product and am defiantly going to purchase another flavor of the EOS Lip Balms. The packaging is super cute, apart from the damaged part of mine, but I love this product.

EOS lip balms

I guess most of you will have heard about EOS lip balms, but if not, I'll just take a minute to explain. They may look odd but they are highly recommended. If you watch american beauty guru's you will most likely see these in videos but not know what they are. The first time I saw these was in a video, I can't recall which video but I couldn't exactly hear what they were called so I watched some more videos and over time I learned that they were lip balms. I found it bazaar that they were lip balms due to the shape of them but they are, and are supposedly really good. I recently ordered the one in the middle which is Strawberry Sorbet and I am so exited, it has yet to arrive but I can't wait. I may do a review, or even a raw review on it depends, I'm still not sure, hm.   

They are quite expensive to buy in the UK, where as in the USA they are around $2! I paid £3.55 for one on amazon plus £1.99 on postage and packaging so it was actually £5.54, which is really steep for a lip balm if you ask me but hopefully it's worth it.

Superdrug Haul

So, today I went to Superdrug!! I got 5 things that cost £11.97 all together, which is sorta cheep considering what i got.

The first thing I got was the Brunette Eye Brow Pen by Make Up Academy. This was £1.00,  which is a good price, but is a little too dark for me. I would recommend this one if you have really dark hair and eye brows but if you have hazel brown or lighter hair and eye brows, I would recommend the blonde one, even if you aren't blonde.

Next, I got my first ever foundation! I was super exited when I got this because I have honestly never had a foundation before and already I am in LOVE with this! It was £4.99 from Superdrug, which is £2.00 off of the boots price, which is great! But, although it is a great product, be sure to pick the right color for your skin tone, I accidentally pick up a color too dark for my skin, but maybe I'll use it when I get more tanned next summer! 

So I finally got my hands Maybelline Baby Lips, I found them in Superdrug while I was paying for the first 2 things and I ask the Cashier who then pointed them out to me! I am loving all 3 of these and can't wait to get the other 3 from the 6 available in the UK!!

So that's all I got, it might not be much to you, but it's a lot to me.

2true is an amazing brand for the perfect cute school look. This brow pencil in No 1 Natural Brown is perfect for filling in your brows. Available at Superdrug for £1.99, perfect!

The third of five 2true products in this post, the 2true Be Clear Concealer is again available at superdrug for £1.99. Perfect for hiding imperfections after applying foundation, or why not try not using foundation and just using concealer, for a more natural look. 

As I should have mentioned before, superdrug are doing a deal on 2true products, 3 for £5.00 on a selected range of their products, AMAZING! The Be Clear Face Powder is another £1.99 product, amazing value for money.

First time buying foundation, try the 2true Be Clear Foundation, at £1.99 this value product is just as good as any other high priced foundation! Here's a few tips, why not try buying a make up sponge like the cosmopolitan or the models own ones, slightly pricey but worth it. Another tip, try using a primer before applying foundation, it will help your make up last longer on your face! 

I'm sure most of you will have heard about Maybelline's Baby Lips, and that they recently launched in the UK, well the Pink Punch Baby Lips is perfect for school if lipsticks aren't your thing for school, or even if your lipstick rubs off during school and you want a fresh coat of something on your lips. One Direction Make Up By MUA

After the launch of the One Direction Make Up Collection by MUA, stores are all ready selling out of the cute, unique products! They launched 3 cheek tints, 5 lip polish, 5 lip sticks and 5 nail polishes. Today when I popped into Superdrug, all but 2 cheek tints had sold out, so i decided to but the second last one, which was in the color 'Rose Riot'.

The picture is the color i got, Rose Riot! It is very inexpensive, but very good quality!

All of the products in the range are £3 except the lip polish which is £2.50.

So what are you waiting for, go get that range. It would take over £51 to buy one of each product, so i recommend not collecting it all. Personally, I am going to collect the cheek tints, the either the lip polish or he lip stick, i still can't decide, but I'm edging towards the lip stick.

Eyelash Curler Bargins!

So eyelash curlers can be quite pricey when you have a limited budget, like me. But, i have manged to track down two very inexpensive eyelash curlers for less that £2 each!

These super cute eyelash curlers are only £1.50 from Matalan! They are usually only £3 but are half price for the summer sale! 

On the other hand, if your looking for a super inexpensive, but simple, pair of eyelash curlers, superdrug id your shop! This pair is only £1.99 and works just a good as any other expensive brand!

So go ahead and get those curlers! Personally, I recommend buying both pairs for many reasons! 

One, to expand and build up your make up collection, two, for comparison of products, and three, to let your knowledge of beauty grow and expand!

Maybelline Baby Lips Land In UK Stores

So, the long wait is over! Maybelline Baby Lips Original collection is finally for sale in UK stores! Superdrug and Boots have launched the original 6 baby lips for £2.99 in stores and online. The products available are, the hydrate, intense care, mint fresh, cherry me, pink punch and peach kiss. The Cherry Me, Pink Punch and Peach Kiss are the most recommended of the original collection but i recommend getting the full collection before they sell out!

Summer

Many teens wonder what makeup to wear in summer, well this short and simple summer beauty guide will solve all of your problems.

Step 1- Wash your face, removing any make-up that may be on your face from the previous day! 
Step 2- Apply BB Cream or foundation on your face, and neck to avoid foundation lines. BB Cream would be better in summer as it is lighter on your skin.
Step 3- Apply a small amount of cover stick or concealer under eyes to cover bags and on any blemishes.
Step 4- Apply pressed powder all over face and neck to set concealer and foundation.
Step 5- Apply eye liner, bronzer, blush, and lip stain to finish the look.
Step 6 (optional)- Apply mascara and/or eye shadow if you want more effect.
Step 7- Style your hair using no heat to protect it as the heat of the sun is more than enough. I recommend a 3 strand braid, fish tale braid or a messy bun to keep your hair away from your face, which will keep you cooler.

Seven steps may seem like a lot but it takes no time at all. Ten minutes would be more than enough to complete all seven, or all six, steps of this process!

Waikiki Orange by Mavala

Want the perfect nail colour for summer, then go out and get the Waikki Orange Nail Polish by Mavala! It's perfect for a bright, matt effect. Such a cute colour on the edge of neon, but not quite! You can purchase this a boots and maybe SuperDrug! Although it is 5ml bottles, which is very small, it last for ages! One or two coats is more than enough to create this simple but effective look! Other colours from the Mavala include Las Vegas, which is a pure dark purple, perfect for fall or winter, and Mystic, which is another summer colour, violet with a hint of pink!

Maybelline Baby Lips Coming To UK

What would you say if i told you that the amazing Baby Lips collection by Maybelline is coming to stores all over the UK.... NEXT MONTH! They will be selling at £2.99, I'm not sure exactly what stores will be selling them but boots will definitely have them in the Maybelline range so in August go there if you want them, i will blog the day i find them in stores! They are going to be more expensive in the UK than in America which is really sad! In America they cost $2.97 in Walmart, which is our Asda, and that is £1.95 which is so much cheaper! So if you are going to America this year you should definitely pick up some Baby Lips! They are said to moisturize your lips and keep them healthy and stop them from drying out. All are flavored and scented differently. Some are colored but many are just a clear sort of color. They recently came outwith an electric collection and it looks so cute! d'aw!
